Virtual Open Forums with Presidential Finalists

Dates have been set for virtual open forums with the finalists for the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ presidency. The forums provide an opportunity for members of the College community and other stakeholders to hear from the candidates and ask questions about their leadership experience and philosophy.
July 14: Presidential Search Finalist Open Forums, Meetings and Finalist Interview—Mr. Frank Brogan, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., via Zoom ****CANCELLED: CANDIDATE HAS WITHDRAWN****
July 15: Presidential Search Finalist Open Forums, Meetings and Finalist Interview—Dr. Christina Hart, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., via Zoom
- View the July 15 interview schedule for instructions on joining the Zoom events with Dr. Hart. Events will be recorded. Those who cannot attend with their constituent group are encouraged to attend another session.
- Virtual open forums with 91¶ÌÊÓƵ presidential finalists will begin with opening statements
by the candidates. After, questions will be taken from conference participants. To
accommodate as many questions as possible during the virtual open forums, up to one
minute will be allotted to ask the question. Two minutes will be allowed for the candidate's
response.
- Zoom meeting participants using computers should use the "raise hand" functionality to indicate that they would like to ask a question.
- Those joining the meeting by phone should use the Chat feature to indicate that they have a question.
- Forums with 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Faculty will take place from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. on each of the three interview days. Per request of the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ chapter of AAUP, three representatives—Dr. Sarah Mallonee, Dr. Bill Tyler, and Dr. Teena White—will lead off the question and answer portions of the Faculty virtual open forums. The question sessions will open to all participants at 9:30 a.m.

Listening Sessions and Input Survey

The 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Presidential Search Committee has launched an to help inform a search profile and advertisements designed to recruit the College’s fourth president. 91¶ÌÊÓƵ employees, students and community members are encouraged to access the survey to share their thoughts about the desired talents, accomplishments and experiences that presidential candidates should possess. Survey responses will be used by the Search Committee in conjunction with feedback collected at Listening Sessions happening throughout the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ service district—Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties—this week.

91¶ÌÊÓƵ is holding a series of listening sessions facilitated by consultants from AGB Search. These sessions are vital for the Presidential Search Committee to develop a Search Profile and advertisements that will be integral to the College’s recruitment efforts.
Participants will have the opportunity to share thoughts about desired talents, accomplishments and experiences that candidates should possess. The sessions will also probe future opportunities and challenges for the College and the new President. The College and AGB Search expect a strong pool of candidates; your involvement will help ensure that result.
We encourage you to attend any one of the following sessions based on your availability—even if you are not a member of the listed constituent group.
If you are unable to attend the sessions, you can share the traits you hope to see in the next 91¶ÌÊÓƵ President, along with the opportunities and challenges you would like the President to focus on, in the Presidential Search Input Survey. A link to the survey will publish on this page when the survey opens on Tuesday, February 4. The survey closes at midnight on Sunday, February 9, 2020.
