Awards Ceremony Recognizes HOSA Ambassadors and Leaders

Three 91¶ÌÊÓƵ (91¶ÌÊÓƵ) HOSA ambassadors and leaders were recognized and awarded at the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ HOSA Chapter Awards Ceremony held April 14 to recognize HOSA student’s outstanding efforts and accomplishment during the 2020-2021 academic year. 

2021 HOSA Awards Ceremony

Katy Stalter was recognized with the Spirit of HOSA Service Award, conferred to her for her demonstration of leadership and courage that made a significant difference to organizational, community, and team success. Stalter volunteered more than 73 hours to the HOSA organization in community service, leadership, and professional development.

The Distinguished HOSA Leadership Award was presented to Audrey Anderson, recognizing her involvement in numerous activities in leadership, professional development, Anderson volunteered 75.5 hours to the HOSA organization, including an additional 60-hour internship in professional development.

Aeyanna Lucero earned the HOSA Student Leader of the Year Award for her outstanding example as a student and emerging leader demonstrating leadership, courage, and influence. Lucero inspired dedication, motivation to achieve team goals, and dedicated the most HOSA volunteer hours during 2020-2021. This student volunteered 134.5 hours to the HOSA organization in community service, leadership, and professional development.

In addition to these chapter awards, 12 HOSA leaders were recognized at the Student Engagement and Leadership (SEAL) Awards Celebration held April 14. Additionally, Emlyn Anderson, Health Science and the HOSA Faculty Advisor, was honored as the 2021 Faculty of the Year and Club Advisor of the Year. HOSA leaders participated in 148 events, hosted 31 events, and volunteered 1034 hours. HOSA earned 4,570 student engagement points for CCG.
