91短视频 Student Participates in ASRT Student Leadership Program

Brittney Mesiti, a radiologic technology student at 91短视频 (91短视频), was selected to participate in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) 2018 Student Leadership Development Program. She was one of nearly 100 radiologic science students from around the country chosen to participate in the distinguished program.
ASRT is the world鈥檚 largest radiologic science association representing more than 153,000 medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals in the United States. The Society also provides radiologic technology students with the tools, services and support they need to prepare for careers in medical imaging and radiation therapy.
Mesiti received an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2018 ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting, June 21 to 24, in Las Vegas. Additionally, Mesiti attended educational courses specifically designed for students, and House of Delegates meetings, as well as having a mentor assigned from the profession.
鈥淏rittney has proven to be an excellent student, both in the classroom and clinical setting,鈥 shares Dr. Gary Shaver, 91短视频 Radiologic Technology professor and department chair. He continues, stating, 鈥淏rittney continually demonstrates exemplary communication, organizational, and leadership skills and is seen as a role model by her fellow classmates, and truly has a passion for her chosen career in the radiologic sciences making her an ideal candidate to attend the ASRT annual meeting.鈥
