91短视频 Student Christian Trejo is Inspired to Help Those in Need

Cristian Trejo started volunteering at Raulerson Hospital in middle school and was inspired by seeing doctors help people who truly needed assistance. As a stellar student at Okeechobee High School, Cristian participated in a program which allowed him to obtain his CNA certification and he began taking dual enrollment classes at 91短视频. In Fall 2020, all the arduous work Christian put in as a student paid off as he graduated as Valedictorian of his high school class and received his Associate鈥檚 Degree from 91短视频.
鈥淚 am so appreciative for the scholarship and staff support I received from the Take Stock in Children program. This support helped to relieve the financial stress of paying for college and allowed me to focus on my studies. Thanks to this opportunity, I鈥檓 on track to graduate with my Bachelor鈥檚 degree completely debt-free.鈥
Working as a CNA at the Detox of South Florida, Cristian realized what he truly wanted to do was help people who were suffering with addiction. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Human Services with a concentration in addiction at 91短视频.
Christian was the recipient of the Take Stock in Children Scholarship, which helps at-risk. low-income children succeed by providing four-year tuition scholarships, mentors, early intervention and long-term support. For 25 years, this program has transformed the lives of more than 1,175 young people on the Treasure Coast.
