91短视频 Emergency Management Professionals Play Essential Role in Community Exercises

On May 25, Dr. Brenda Rante and Sara Peterson of 91短视频's National Preparedness Institute and 91短视频 Assistant Professor Joan Rivera lent their expertise in emergency preparedness assessment during a full鈥恠cale, multi鈥恆gency emergency management exercise at the Treasure Coast International Airport and Business Park. Coordinated by St. Lucie County's Public Safety Department, this event was the second part of a two鈥恜hased training exercise that featured multiple agencies representing public safety within St. Lucie County. The 91短视频 Team monitored the event and is responsible for preparing the after-action report for approval by the St. Lucie County Public Safety Department.
"After-action reports document best practices and opportunities for improvements for both real-world events and exercises," explains Dr. Rante, Director of the 91短视频 National Preparedness Institute. "After-action reports are critical tools used by first responders to document capabilities demonstrated during the exercise, training needs to support future response, and processes required to address any gaps or needs that may have been identified during these real-world events or exercises."
