This year, the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ college community joined together on Thursday, October 21, to rock their best pink gear, take photos, cheer the Lady Pioneers volleyball team to victory, and share the #91¶ÌÊÓƵPinkOut message across social media.

In honor of the First Lady of Florida, Casey DeSantis, and fighters, families, and survivors with lives impacted in the fight against breast cancer, the college community stood together on the campus green to create a large pink ribbon as a message of hope and support.

At the Annual PINK Out game, the Lady Pioneers took on Daytona State College—winning a thrilling five-set match against Daytona State College. During the game at the halftime mark, Student Engagement recognized all breast cancer survivors in attendance.

Additionally, participants were given preventive detection resources, enjoyed appropriately pink refreshments, snacks, activities, and more. Support for the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ International Club's participation in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, October 23, was also collected.

All event participants during the day were entered into a drawing for prizes—including a commemorative pink volleyball signed by the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Lady Pioneers, won by Brenda McKenzie. We are 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Proud of everyone who came out in support of this cause!
