Smart Automation and Robotics
Our 22-week accelerated Smart Automation and Robotics course is an intensive and comprehensive program designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the dynamic field of smart automation and robotics. This fast-paced training course is ideal for individuals looking to quickly gain expertise in cutting-edge automation technologies and their applications.
Topics include essential robot operation and programming, interfacing and material handling, manufacturing cells, assembly palletizing, intelligent sensors, readers, ASCII data manipulation, human-machine interfacing, and cartesian coordinate programming.
Once You Complete the Course
This course is an entry point to careers as an automation technician, robotics technician, industrial maintenance technician, electro-mechanical systems technician, mechatronics technician, and more. You will be able to work across a spectrum of industries to maintain, troubleshoot, and fix automated and robotic systems and their applications. These industries include automated distribution and supply chain, food processing, information technology and data centers, automotive, aircraft and boat manufacturing, healthcare and biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, agriculture, aerospace, and defense.
Course Information
The course costs $3,500. Tuition assistance may be available. The pre-requisite courses are Industrial Systems Maintenance and Industrial Automation, and you will earn 38 Continuing Education Units.
