Carpentry
Explore the art of carpentry by learning to use hand and power tools to construct, install and repair wooden structures and fixtures. You will also learn how to read blueprints, choose materials and do finish work. This hands-on program is offered in partnership with the Treasure Coast Builder’s Association and prepares high-quality, entry-level carpenters for the building construction industry.
Once You Complete the Program
Pursue a career as a construction carpenter, rough carpenter, bench carpenter or cabinetmaker. You may also consider installation jobs for drywall or tile, or venture into fabrication. Years of experience will qualify you for supervisory positions including, but not limited to, foreman, building superintendent, construction estimator or project manager.
