Once You Complete the Program
After graduation from 91¶ÌÊÓƵ obtain a certification and/or join an association to advance your career development. Those graduating with an Associate Degree may choose to continue at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ by enrolling in a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice to examine all aspects of this exciting field, including criminal and delinquent behavior and its root causes; ethics and liability; evolving technologies; leadership skills; and the relationship between research, theory and practice.

An Associate Degree in Science in Criminal Justice Technology offers students the educational foundation for a successful leadership career in everything from local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to an insurance investigator. The program features Open Educational Resources (OER) for Criminal Justice courses, which provide customized materials and eliminate the need and cost for textbooks, saving students money. Students interested in virtual learning may complete the Criminal Justice Technology Associate in Science Degree program entirely online.*
91¶ÌÊÓƵ also offers a Law Enforcement Academy Track, a two-year degree program in a para-military format designed to provide the student with the skills, abilities, and education for a successful law enforcement career. Students in this program will complete their Associate in Science Degree in Criminal Justice and the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Law Enforcement Basic Recruit Academy. Hands-on classes and in-depth topics explore a wide range of subjects that can be implemented throughout the criminal justice field. Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex
The Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ (91¶ÌÊÓƵ) is one of the most comprehensive, technologically advanced public safety training facilities in the nation. The 50-acre, eight-building Complex has gained national and international attention for its proactive approach to disaster prevention, response, recovery and relief. The Complex enables 91¶ÌÊÓƵ to combine criminal justice, fire science, emergency management, public administration, paralegal and human services education in one place for a coordinated response to all types of emergencies. This innovation in public service education provides students with access to quality instruction, integrating academics, technology and practical applications that lead to degrees and certifications in the public service sector.
At a local level, the proximity of the Complex to public safety agencies helps Treasure Coast communities save money on continuing education and enables them to easily work together to fine tune interagency response to hurricanes and other natural and man-made disasters. At a national level, specialized training and workshops attract thousands of public service professionals from around the nation. 91¶ÌÊÓƵ has hosted federal agencies for training to prepare for large-scale events.
