The field of public administration focuses on the formation and management of public agencies. Public administration considers public resources, accountability, analysis and contemporary management of public agencies, including criminal justice agencies. Public administration careers exist at every level of government.

The Emergency Planning and Management concentration is designed for students who want to work in the emergency planning field. Students will gain a solid educational foundation for a fulfilling career helping others.
The Policy and Leadership concentration is designed for people who want to be managers and leaders in their organizations. Many students choose this concentration to prepare them for management positions with their current employer while others use it to establish a solid foundation for a public-sector career. Students who enroll in this concentration will gain a solid foundation in strategic planning, public personnel management, and leadership.
