Student Government Association

Campus Coalition Government Leaders

The Campus Coalition Government (CCG) was initiated at 91短视频 in 1973 and was renamed to Student Government Association (SGA) in 2022. SGA is a concept of student government linking representatives from over 70 student clubs, organizations and athletic teams into a coalition reflecting the varied social, career and age interests of students. SGA exists to represent and act in the interests of all students at 91短视频.

What is the First Year Experience (FYE) Program?This is a program designed to equip students with essential skills and knowledge to promote their academic success, personal development, wellness, and social integration as they transition into college life. Students in this program are paired with a Peer Leader to support them during this important phase. Your Peer Leader is a student you will connect with during your first year at 91短视频 to help you navigate college life.

Program Curriculum

  • Attending a New Student Orientation Session (NSO) virtual or in person 
  • Connecting with your assigned鈥Peer Leader鈥- virtual or in person 
  • Completing a CareerCoach detailed assessment - virtual 
  • Meeting with your鈥痑dvisor - virtual or in-person options available 
  • Joining a club/organization on鈥RiverLife鈥- virtual 
  • Attend ONE (1)鈥Wellness or Community Service鈥痚vent - virtual or in-person options available 
  • &苍产蝉辫;颁辞尘辫濒别迟别鈥SLS 1501鈥痮n Blackboard - virtual and/or use Brainfuse Online Tutoring Services or Tutoring Center Services

River Pathways

Join River Pathways, a self-paced leadership program designed to fit into your busy schedule (up to 2 years to complete). By completing one or more pathways鈥擟areer , Digital Literacy , Well-Being & Resilience , Community Service , or Leadership Development 鈥攜ou'll gain valuable skills, experiences, and connections that set you apart as a leader. Plus, you鈥檒l earn graduation cords for each completed pathway, and students who finish all pathways receive the exclusive 鈥淟egacy Leader鈥 graduation stole as a mark of distinction. These pathways are perfect for building your resume, developing professional skills, and contributing to personal growth while leaving a lasting impact on your community.
